DC using FO3s URWL ported to NV

Post by Jim_UK » Sat Sep 22, 2012 2:03 pm

These have been downscaled but not enhanced, I don't think it looks too shabby.

It's just the rain that is

It's just the rain that is the issue, it starts raining and it goes so dark so you see can't anything. Also rather oddly it was raining in Novac even though the NV URWL I have hasn't got rain, it must have been the ported FO3 version, the two don't appear to get on. frown

Yeah, the weather in the two

Post by JaxFirehart » Sat Sep 22, 2012 8:53 pm

Yeah, the weather in the two game uses the same formid and is vastly different, so I was forced to create new forms for FO3 weather, meaning that mods that are trying to affect FO3 weather will instead effect FNV weather and have no effect on FO3 weather...

This is Nevada Skies right?

This is Nevada Skies right? Within 3 months (subject to change naturally) Project Reality mK II will be out. I had to uninstall NS URWL due to graphical issues, and I miss it. I need rain in my life.

I made a specific request for that mod to have TTW in mind, which I think was acknowledged by the author.

And it will have RAINBOWS!! *punches air*

I think being able to run any

I think being able to run any sort of weather mod is a must, FO3's default green is horrible.

Unfortunately, like I said

Unfortunately, like I said above, the logistics of running an out-of-the-box weather mod are just impossible. That said, the conversion process should be fairly easy for me, or someone familiar with FNVEdit. We will try to get some weather mods available around release.
