Super Mutant weapons animations and levelled lists

Post by EverChosen208 » Tue Jun 20, 2017 3:22 am

I have hitmans super Mutant animation pack so that they can use most NV weapons, but there's two weapons in particular I'm having trouble with:

Brutes at times spawn with battle rifles but won't use them, and simply try to punch me. I'm assuming becomes hitmans mod doesn't cover the battle rifle animations?

Then there's the European battle rifle (FN FAL). Now this weapon is odd because it works for all super mutants BUT overlords. They hold the weapon in one hand but they just won't fire it and will stare at me until I kill them. I'm fairly sure it uses the same anims as the assault carbine so it should be working.

Are there any other anim packs to fix these problems or is there a way to remove these two weapons from the SM levelled lists? And could I add weapons to these lists in the same way?

The overlords animations are in a different folder.

The mod will become incompatible with 3.0 as a heads up, as we are using Talkie Toaster's animations.

Will most mods be incompatible with 3.0? And could I update to 3.0 in the middle of a playthrough?

You will need to start a new game with 3.0. Unfortunately there is not way to prevent this (although it should be the last version where a new game needs to be started).

They are compatible with the Fallout 3 weapons and the New Vegas weapons. They aren't custom ones, which would be great if they were, but animation is hard and time consuming and none of the team knows how to do it.

We go for compatibility first.

If you want to use his you can, but don't expect any support for things that don't work.
