As we all know already, Fallout 3 and New Vegas have more bugs than a insect farm. A load of bugs have been fixed with TTW and a few patches created by modders. But recently I've been getting more bugs than I ever did before, some of them I didn't even know existed in the original games. I notice the more you play the game, the more bugs you're likely to come across. The first major bug I've been having recently is, whenever I go to load a older save but I'm already in a game, the game will crash. The only way to avoid it is by exiting to the main menu than loading the save. The second of is a few quest bugs for Head of State and How little we know. Head of state can be sorted using console commands and How little we know can be sorted by just killing the two big bosses. Simple really but I've never had that problems before and I've played FO3 and NV on ps3, 360 and pc. 



The latest problem I've come across now is, while doing a optional quest for Yes man to protect Aaron Kimball. After speaking to the NCR solder to begin the protecting this Kimball dude. It will fade out and then fade back in but then I'm trapped inside of Butch, so I can't move, wait or fast travel.



I can deal with the long loading screen but it just seems like every quest I do from now on just breaks the game. If it's my load order or installation, I would accept but I'm just having a very hard time enjoying the game, when half the time it won't work.

PNxEO MCMScriptFixes.esp isn't needed with PN EO 1.3


Clean Deluxe, remove it, incompatible.


Set the timescale to 30 in PN EO.


ttw_water_fix.esp <- what is this?



Companion Core.esm


RobCo Certified.esm


 


What is companion core? I hope that's NV RobCo, FO3 one not converted properly afaik.


 


HZFollowerCheatMenu.esp <- will break your game.

ttw_water_fix is a fix for FO3. After I did main quest for FO3, the water wasn't purified and that fixed it.


 


This might sound like a silly question but how do I change the timescale?


I use companion core to work with HZFollwersCheatMenu. It's the only way I was able to have my companion follow me to DLCs. It also seem to allow me to do some of the dlc. Yeah for some reason I couldn't do the pitt or point lookout.

The timescale change is a setting under one of the PN MCMs. Look for it. Pretty sure the "loading a save from a save crashes the game" is a bug with the engine that's been around since at least FO3.

That's the thing, before it would happen some time just not all the time. I physically can't save, make a mistake then loading the save again. Surely I'm not the only person who use to save before pick pocketing someone, fail to pickpocket them, then load the save to try again. In my FO3 and NV experience, the game crashing after trying to reload a save rarely ever happened and I did it a lot. But now I have to exit to the main menu if I want to reload a save. There's no maybe it will work this time, it just won't work at all.



Is it the one that says "Time change"  because that's the one I selected. So the next time I load the game, I'll see if that helped. A part of me just wants to re-install it from scratch and start a new save.
