installer not opening

Hi.

So I installed the installer, opened it on 7-zip, and made a shortcut for the .exe file on my desktop. I ran it as administrator like instructed. It gives me "do you want to allow this program to make changes on this computer?" I hit yes. Nothing happens. I try again. Again, "Do you want to allow this program to make changes on this computer?" I click yes. Nothing happens. I wait around, search on google for fixes and try the forums. No luck. Somebody please help me. I don't know how to fix this. Please even if its a suggestion help me find a fix for this problem.

I am running windows 8, I have 4096 MB RAM , and an AMD A4-4300M APU processor.

I have nexus mod manager 0.53.4 (which I havent used in the installation of this mod)

FNV ultimate edition and F3 game of the year edition both bought on steam

try running the actual program in admin instead of the shortcut.

Im not familiar with uac on W8. Can you just turn it off temporarily?

Also, did you check taskmanager to see if the process was running? It could be failing to start because of some obscure issue with dependencies.

he popped into chat and got it fixed. he was decompressing it with an old copy of winrar or something, got 7zip, is happy.
