Massive FPS drop when MMM corpse flies show up

I was running through one of the AWOP motel levels in the capital wasteland and after ganking all the raiders a few corpse flies pop up. No more than 2 seconds after noticing this my FPS goes from around 50 to 3. I tried using a console command to purge the cell buffers, turned off corpse flies on the MCM menu for MMM, re-entered the space to have the same problem. I'm runining the game on ultra with NCM's texture pack (the ultra one I belive) I have an i54460 processor, 8 gigs of ram, and a gtx 970 graphics card so graphically speaking should I even be haivng a problem? (I just built my pc so I may have pushed it to it's limit but I doubt it since I can play metro LL on the highest settings with fps around 90.) So could if anyone could give me some advice and or tell me if my hardware just isn't quite enough? And here's the load order.

That's a known issue with the corpse flies. I remember at one point someone figured out what was going on (or maybe they just disabled  the feature because they didn't know why). Basically, corpse flies kill the game.

I checked my download history just to make sure I had installed the right file and I'm almost certain I did. I'll do it again and see if that helps.

Wonder what it can be, though. I always use them and, yes, I notice a small FPS drop, but I've never had massive FPS drops like that. Are you using a really high spawn rate so there are tons of corpses?

Yeah, I've not head of any problems but there's a check mark in the MCM that lets you turn corpse flies off.

I believe I'm only using a slightly higher than default spawn rate. That said I have turned off the corpse fly feature. I don't find it necessary to have it on and if I'm the only one experiencing this issue there's really no point to trying to figure it out. I was most concerned that my hardware might not be up to stuff to run the mod.

Seems like something installing MMM with MCM support has gone wrong and you are still using the old corpseflies from Martigen (which where always troublemakers). TTW MMM with MCM (so many acronyms :) ) has them updated so this shouldn't happen anymore.
