Radiation and Lag

Post by TheAssassin91 » Sun Aug 02, 2015 5:12 pm

Hello I have been having some problems with my fallout game recently, for some reason my character always has 275 radiation poisoning and I cannot heal it. So far I have tried rad-away, getting a doctor to heal me, console commands and I removed Nevada skies just incase rad storms had something to do with it but nothing seems to work. Also I have tried getting more irradiated and the value continues to go up as normal and when I take rad-away my radiation level moves all the way back down to 275 radiation then stops. Has anybody else had this problem and if so did you find a fix.

My second problem is with performance for some reason my game begins to lag after an hour or so of gameplay as if the game was suffering from a memory leak and once I restart the game everything works perfect again, it is not a big problem but it can be annoying when immersed in the game and all of a sudden things start slowing down until the game is unplayable.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We can't really help if you don't give us a load order or any information about your computer...

I'm not alright, I'm an equal amount of left.

Not sure about the lag, but

Not sure why copy/paste from notepad isn't working for me today. Here's the response I had typed:

Ah, well it's still screwed up. Hope you can follow it. So far today, I put my shirt on backwards, then put creamer in the coffee filter when making coffee. Then fiddled around trying to get this post formatted with carriage returns and it wasn't happening.

I had the same problem when

I had the same problem when coping my load order from notepad as well. Thanks it is not too hard to follow, I should have waited for your message because I ended up reloading an older save and I figured out there was a problem with a chem called iodine it is suppose to give you 60 second immunity from radiation and that seems to have caused the problem.

I honestly don't even know what mod that comes from or if it is even part of a mod, I checked CAM and it has no mention of it so I can't even fix it but at least I know not to take that again haha and thanks to you I know how to fix it if it happens again :D.

Next time you get iodine drop

Next time you get iodine drop the item, then console- click on it. Type gbo and hit enter and make a note of the response. The first two characters in the hex code it returns are mod index. Match those up with a mod in your load order and you have your winning mod.
