NCR randomly attack me at Mojave Outpost.

Went there for the first time, and they started shooting. I haven't sided with the Legion, or with anyone yet. I have no idea what mod it could be. It was seemingly npc overhaul at first, since Ringo was immedtialy hostile with me. I turned that off and it was fine. But it's still off, and now NCR are hostile.

Once you lose rep and it's in your save it stays. It must have been NPC overhaul, because there is nothing currently in your load order that would cause that to happen.

You should also remove (delete) any inactive plugins.

So it turns out to not be that. The issue seemingly was I had rep with the DC BoS, which in turn made NCR hostile, because they apparently have the faction ID as the NV BoS. (This according to an older thread on the forum)

I removed my BoS rep through the console, and that fixed it.

The weird thing was, I was neutral with NCR, so there was no reason for them to attack. It started

Can you give me a refid (click on them in console) of affected NPCs so I can double check and make sure that no longer occurs.

With NPCOverhaul on it was an NCR trooper 00a23b7

This was the thread, I found a console fix in.

Yeah it's because of Faction armor that they turned hostile against you.

Couldn't be faction armor, I was wearing plain leather armor, and no helm. I even tried go to Mojave nude, and that didn't work, until I did the console command.

Well I can't see any reason they would turn hostile to you otherwise in vanilla.

How odd then. Either way, getting rid of my brotherhood rep fixed everything.

So I guess it was ttw_reputation causing it? Only explanation I can think of.

I'll go and try this again on another save, see if I can replicate it.
