of course my apologies, i have a GeForce GTX 960M just updated to version 384.76, 16 gig ram, and an Intel(R) Core i7-6400HQ CPU @ 2.60 GHz. my current game setup in terms of the mods are all the TTW files including the optional ones and all the fallout 3 and new vegas .esm files, all my other mod files are turned off in the launcher. i made it past the one year skip after the birth but when i walk out the door the 9 year starts going normally but just as it's about to finish it crashes

Are you using any pipboy
Are you using any pipboy replacer? Those will cause a crash there and if I recall correctly, unless you uninstall them completely (not just untick them in your mod manager) it will still cause the problem.
- Have a problem? Try checking our FAQ. It might have the solution for it.

This is usually due to using a pipboy replacer or custom race mods. Disabling in you mod manager is not the same as uninstalling them unless you use Mod Organizer.
This can also be caused by codec packs like CCCP.

Usually, I'll start in the Mojave Wasteland to avoid things like this. If you try this, you may find that the glitch is fixed temporarily (until you want to start from the other wasteland, that is).
Here are the benefits of starting in the Mojave:
-
You do not have to fix the train in order to transfer* -
You can get caps to buy a ticket easily, as jobs typically are more paying** -
Your mods that change things load up easily***
*(This is from what I know. I have not gone from Mojave -> Capital -> Mojave in one game save.)
**(You're going to have to trust me on this one. As a player, this is what I know from playing.)
***(This is also from what I know, as any time I wanted to start in the Capital Wasteland, The Sprint Mod didn't load.)
I hope this helps you get somewhat of a 'fix'.

You cannot use readius based
You cannot use readius based mods with TTW.
Uninstall it and start the game over without it.
