ENBs and TTW

Post by alexisalex » Fri Nov 14, 2014 12:23 pm

Now I am not sure if this is "mod troubleshooting" as such though I have posted this due to issues with enb so it sort of is. I am currently running Rudy enb, the natural one, and have noticed the symptoms of enbs, mainly textures not properly displaying and appearing see through. Is there something I can do to the enb (other than removing it) to make it work? If not are there any enbs you guys could recommend that work with TTW without these texture issues? Thanks.

(I didn't include all that stuff that is usually asked as i know 100% the problem is my enb (and it does away after i uninstall it))

Yeah the problem is your enb. Go over your settings and make sure everything is set as it should be. That said, I use E enb.

I don't know that much about

I don't know that much about ENB, actually TJ helped me when I first started using it. However, for my ENB I have to have Vsync enabled, antialiasing off, HDR on. Other settings I've found that help as well are to have Depth of Field off, transparency multisampling off, and water refractions and multisampling off. Again you can try these but TJ and some of the others have more experience. I use enb series Fallout New Vegas, version 0263 and Skyrim visual immersion III RC 005-15050. The Skyrim enb is for one file only and that is I replace the enbeffectprepass.fx with the Skyrim one. It has a better Depth of field effect. I use the wrapper version and have no problems. If you are using 4gb you need to make a copy of your d3d9.dll and place it into your exe folder that 4gb creates.

Restoring the greatest country in the world to its former glory, well, heh heh... Well, that takes time, even for the Enclave.

If you're having see through

If you're having see through walls and on other textures, it's caused by this one line in your enblocal.ini

FixTransparencyBugs=true

Change that to false and you won't have the see through problem anymore.

what fixed the transparent

Post by Cataca » Sun Nov 16, 2014 8:13 pm

what fixed the transparent textures for me, was going back to v150 and disable fixtransparency. But that is a special thing with radeon cards and enbs in fonv, boris refuses to fix it, for whatever reason.
