Project Nevada - Sprint not working

Hey guys. I have no clue what the hell is going on, but sprint absolutely REFUSES to work in my game no matter what I do. I've tried re-installing PN, and it's all of its patches, I've tried disabling my two merged patches, I've tried toggling it on and off in-game, all in vain.


I get the screen shudder and my AP drains as if I was sprinting, but I continue moving at the regular movement speed. I have no freaking idea what's causing this, but it's really pissing me off. Some much needed help would be greatly appreciated.

I have noticed that sprint is far less likely to work properly when you don't have a weapon equipped. The reason is (I think) because movement speed is recalculated when the player equips/unequips a weapon. You can see this in action by using Rebalance menu to change the player's holstered move speed while your weapon is holstered already. You won't change speeds until something forces the game to recalculate.

Edit: It's 100% confirmed, I'm an idiot. I had no weapon equipped on my last save and that's why it wasn't working... God damn. Thanks, and apologies for the 2nd stupid topic by me guys! (Or was it 3rd?)

Nevermind... I can sprint just fine with my weapon drawn, but as soon as I holster it I can't run anymore. I'm thinking maybe it's a conflict with NVEC? I've never had this problem before on any previous installations, and this is the first time I've used NVEC so I'm not sure.


Gonna load a previous save, it seemed to crop up after waiting for 3 days to reset the cells.


Edit: This is pissing me off, it's not NVEC that's causing the problems, I have not a clue what in the f**k is going on. Tried reloading an earlier save, and it doesn't matter they're all affected.
