modding help

i need help, i am making a mansion and wanted some advice lore wise, would it be possible that house crated a hidden mansion for himself underground, it is styled like a villa from dead money, i am going to add content from fo3 and fonv, it will look pretty good when i am done, but i want some advice lore wise would that make sense at all?


 


i also wanted to know how to remove esms that are  required for a mod to work, i did not use anything from them, how would i do that?

not sure how to incorperate that lore wise, but maybe it was above ground and fell into the metro in a cave-in? then perhaps a npc or the player restores it.

Removing ESMs is easy. Load your mod in FNVEdit, let everything load, then right click on it and select the "Clean masters" option. It'll work for a moment and show a message when it finishes. Then you can close and save.


Lore wise on the villa thing. Not sure. He hooked himself into the Lucky 38 systems before the war even happened, so by that point he had no use for an underground mansion. You can find his full history here.


There is however a precedent for a fallout shelter that looks like a house underground. It's kinda cool looking, and honestly would make a neat departure from the usual style of player housing found in Fallout.

the way i started it i could make it a secret underground thing still, but only have a vertibird in it, then i could have the cordinates pre-built in for the player and it takes him to houses private island or valey or whatever i turn this house into

There have been numerous missile silos converted to bunkers. Maybe have one out near the boomers since it's outside the airforce base. Might be an idea. And with Lonesome Road there should be models in the GECK already
