when do fallout new vegas mods activate in tale of two waste lands ?

Post by Babar1982 » Wed May 21, 2014 3:16 am

I would like to know whether do all fallout new vegas mods activate in-game when you reach the mojave desert or should they activate while playing fallout 3 within the tale of two waste lands mod ?

Anything that requires Aint

Anything that requires Aint That a Kick in the Head to be completed wont "activate" until (self evidently) you finish it, but other than that, everything is always "active".

Depends on the mod. Some mods

Depends on the mod. Some mods only activate after you finish the NV character generation, others activate automatically.

well actually i started with my fallout 3 character and have installed other FNV mods  along the tale of two wastelands mod . I have them check ticked within the nexus mod manager .But as i am out of vault 101 now .I only see the FO3 Dlcs activated but no indication of the other FNV mods that are check ticked too .So how do i know that those other FNV check ticked  mods are also activated during the F03 game play ? .For instance some FNV zombie mods .

You ask us, cause we have

You ask us, cause we have psychic powers and can see what mods you are talking about as well as know exactly when they're scripted to start working.

As Jax said, it depends on the mod. Generally if you can't already see it's effects then you don't meet it's criteria for enabling. Usually that's after FNV char creation, which still happens in TTW even if you start out in FO3.

odds are that if your looking

odds are that if your looking for FNV mods while your still in DC well your probably not going to notice many. Unless the mod has been updated for TTW because, well the mods weren't made for FO3 or DC. You may or may not notice some weapon armor mods showing up in DC because the games do share some leveled lists and such.

It's just likely you won't know or see the NV mods until you actually get to NV.
