Amy Wong and Bittercup companion red exclamation points

I installed these mods and get red exclamation points for both companions with both of them bald.

I had been using Lings (just the hair styles) and I uninstalled it. Redid Archive Invalidation. Still the problem.

I reinstalled FONV/TTW from the ground up but I'm still getting the red exclamation points.

Any suggestions?

You are missing meshes. Did you install the original Fallout 3 versions of those mods first to get the resource files.

No. I didn't.

I had Lings installed so I didn't realize I had a problem.

Tried to download the assets and install them for Amy Wong but had no luck.

You'll need the BSA from the original install RAR. That contains the meshes and other graphical assets that the ESM needs. Download the full 3.13 install from Nexus, you'll need to drop the BSA into your Data directory and you should be good to go.

Update:

I loaded just the FO3 Amy Wong assets via NMM then loaded your Amy Wong ESM, did a merged patch but no joy. Still the red exclamation point. Tried just dropping the BSA in my Data Folder. Still no joy.

Finally I unzipped the FO3 3.13. Removed the FOMOD, ESM, and options folder. Dropped in your ESM. Zipped it and loaded it via NMM.

And it worked!

Glad to hear it. She should work like a charm in DC, and I haven't converted any DLC-related patches, so for the moment you're on your own there. Also, don't send her on her trade tour in New Vegas - she'll run off into the distance, never to return. My current test version of Amy has code that *should* disable her trade tours except in DC, but I haven't had a chance to test that yet, so I haven't released it.
