[RESOLVED] Extreme Frame Drop in Canterbury Commons

All right, as I am in a bit of a dead end, I'd like some help relating to a problem I have in Canterbury Commons; when the AntAgonizer and the Mechanist stop fighting and retreat to their hideouts, an extreme frame drop occurs (it falls to ~2 FPS, rendering the game unplayable), while the inhabitants of Canterbury Commons (example, Uncle Roe) end up being fully naked. I believe it may be a problem relating to the mods I installed, and I'd like a few suggestions to fix this problem.

EDIT: I've managed to find out the mod that caused it; it's More 2 Megaton.

Try disabling all of your mods first. It'll help narrow down the issue.

Don't know if there's an easy fix for this kind of emergent issue you seem to be experiencing. 


Anyone who would be able to help you would suggest 1st disabling all of your mods, then re-activating them one at a time to figure out what's causing the drop in framerate. Say thank-you to rbroab.


Another issue may be the OS on which you're running the game. Many windows 7 and windows 8 users have reported drops in framerate throughout their games. So a windows xp user with the exact same mod-list may not experience any framerate drop at all.


It's kind of impossible to say, at a glance.

Alright guys, thanks for your suggestions, but it looks like I found the problem child of my mods after listening to my gut feeling: it was More 2 Megaton. It seems that mod added an NPC to Canterbury Commons and screwed the place up so badly, Fallout new Vegas resorted to doing acrobatic pirouettes.
