A Stain on the Cell

I had been playing in the CW with a combination of BA_Wasteland, Their World, Overgrown World and Vurt's Flora Overhaul, with Vurt's Recovering Wasteland inadvertently running. The results were very very good. Until I came out of the grocery at Seneca Station on the way to Arefu. The picture attached is AFTER I took out all of the green mods.


It's a stain of some kind. I've had this happen before outside of TTW, but nothing so severe. How do I get rid of it?

300 plugins is too many to have installed. 126 plugins active by itself is stretching the engine thin as is. Get rid of most of it.


You need to use FNVEdit to make a merged patch (really easy) because you have a bunch of stuff that edits the same stuff.


Get rid of MMUE and start your playthrough again.


Even if you have a super high-end machine to run bethesda games, at some point the engine istelf runs into limitations. Large amounts of complex mods reach this point quickly.

From what you just said in chat, I get why you want a whole heap of mods, but you really need to start figuring out which ones are essential (for me its Project Nevada and WMX) and which ones are just a nice thing to have, and get rid of them.
