Game Freezes after loading MCM

Post by StarletHologram » Sun Jan 19, 2014 6:50 pm

Hi there everyone!. I just happened to reinstall the game to be able to use TTW Ver 2.4. Everything worked fine, I played without any other mod installed until I got out of Vault 101. Then I installed DUI4, Cinematech, MCM and Unified HUD...the game freezes after MCM is loaded ( a little pop up message mentions it was installed). I've tried installing and reinstalling, I have the last versions of all those mods, the INI files have been modified according to DUI4 requirements, I've installed following the order described in Unified HUD page... I don't know what else can I do or what could it be causing the problem. Do you have any ideas?.

Thanks for your attention and help! :)

Update: I wiped out the game, reinstalled it using the Backup I had previously created and installed first MCM Ver 1.5, then CASM for MCM, then Darnified UI 4 and last Unified HUD. This seems to have solved the issue.

Might be the "multiple popups

Might be the "multiple popups at once" freezing bug. This happens with FNV when mods all try to display their popups at the same time.

Thanks for your answer

Thanks for your answer Thermador. That could certainly be part of the issue, when I loaded the savegame it was set on the very moment when you left Vault 101 and FO3 DLCs start to load and pop up.

I have to second that!

It is amazing how a mod that doesn't do that much game wise really improves the mood of the game, I love that mod.

I like how you actually have to be in range of something to get the broadcasts.
