Niner's quest isn't progressing

I've played my game with Niner at my side with no problems, going through his quests and what have you. Now that he is waiting for me in the Vault 21 hotel if i speak to him the quest doesn't acknowledge that I have 'met' him. Thought at first it was because of the glitch when firing a companion, but when I made sure he wasn't in the console the quest STILL doesn't work. Any suggestions?

You may want to ask the author of the mod first. Maybe it's not TTW related at all?

The Niner mod is a little bit wonky, imo. I uninstalled the mod as soon as I got to know that you will speak to Niner if you want it or not. After some days with the mod installed, Niner just randomly appears and talks to you about his quest even if you haven't met him yet (confirmed by the author, he was just too lazy to add conditions to the quest).

Tried to contact the author, no reply for days and yet he's recently updated the mod....I'm gonna uninstall i think. Thanks though
