Conflict with Project Nevada

Post by tizerist » Sat May 11, 2013 11:53 pm

Noticed a bug where the PN hud projectile icon (next to AP bar) disappears when you enter the Anchorage simulation, and does not reappear after you exit. Pressing H does nothing also, doesn't even make it's usual noise.

Can anyone confirm this please?

Try manually equipping a grenade or mine or something like that, that might give it a kick and make it start doing its job again.

Yeah, I have tried that jax.

Yeah, I have tried that jax. It's like Anchorage did something to the hud. I tried disabling and re-enabling the grenade hotkey too.

Well I can confirm this happened to me, but it also came back right away, so I'm at a loss. Sorry.

Ok, I'm going to need to cheat my way through anchorage without mods, excluding PN and TTW, to see exactly where this has occurred. I have unsuccessfully tried the code completequest xx0009bf after you talk to montgomery the first time, but it doesn't work. Have quest ID's been changed by TTW or perhaps i'm doing the cheat wrong?

Oddly, loading an Anchorage save with only TTW and PN, I can actually see the grenade icon, in the simulation. That's not what we said happened during the sim so that's weird. Completing the sim, the icon is gone again.

Have you tried disabling PN

Have you tried disabling PN and re-enable it again? Or would that mess up your game? Unfortunately I never used PN sad although I know it's a great mod and one of the favorites for most players laugh.

I was under the impression that my issues with the grenade keys were to do with PN not recognising the anchorage grenades. If this is not the case, then I would imagine it is a seperate mod that is causing your issue, as PN by itself will have the icon return aftter the simulation for me.

Alternatively, you could try opening up the grenade selection whilst in the simulation by holding the "h" key rather than just pressing it. Also, does your trouble exist only in the hud or does it include the quick-key "g" for using grenades too?

What codes would I use to cheat my way through Anchorage? The ones in the first post didn't work.

The quick keys for mines and grenades have also gone, even if  I reconfigure them in MCM. C for bullet-time is still there though. It's weird cos I can hold H in Anchorage and the little menu does come up, by stripping my mods down to TTW and PN.

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Gamebryo_console_commands#Quests has the codes you'll need.

Other than maybe dropping all grenades then picking them up again, I don't have any other ideas. Sorry.

If you really want the gear in the armory, just tcl in there. Its a little cheesy, but better than not being able to grenade key things.
