TTW interior suite unstable for me?

Post by EverChosen208 » Thu Aug 17, 2017 2:54 am

I don't know about anyone else here but I'm kind of starting to hate going to my lucky 38 suite now. After around 10 seconds of being in the room my FPS will begin to tank exponentially, with the landscape outside glitching out more and more over my play through. Giant world holes are now in the place of mountains for me. Any known remedies or patches to fix these problems?

Also a minor thing, the wall textures in the suite are extremely low res. I don't know if NMC or Ojo bueno have new textures for these walls and floors of the lucky 38 bit its especially noticeable in the suite. Its just bugging me a bit and I'm wondering if its just me encountering these problems

This is a symptom of too many mods in your load order.

Well I'm fairly below the mod

Well I'm fairly below the mod limit :/ guess I cant fix it then since the mods I have currently are here to stay. I could try merging but I'm not sure which of my mods are okay to merge together

You should aim to have around 90 plugins max. I think I never met anyone with too many mods problems with 90 or less.

PFFT well I'm about 140 atm

PFFT well I'm about 140 atm so waaay past that XD. But like I said, plenty of plugins to potentially merge but I'm not entirely sure whats safe to merge with what. With mods like ILO that have an esp for each seperate thing like interiors, dead money support, TTW support etc can you merge them all into a single plugin with no problems?

As long as you get your order

As long as you get your order right when merging absolutely.

FNVEdit can simplify mergers by generating an new esp, then you can drag the records you want to have priority. You can then disable the original plugins. As a general rule if I find it is too complicated to do by hand, I shouldn't be doing it.

Okay nice! I've been using

Post by EverChosen208 » Thu Aug 17, 2017 7:17 am

Okay nice! I've been using MergePlugins since the youtube tutorial about it is extremely comprehensive, and since I had no idea FNVEdit can do the same thing until you just mentioned it hehe. Its a great program to use.

I've so far only merged weapon mods but today I just merged 5 different mods I had by PushTheWinButton and they work completely fine. That's 4 esps off my LO :) My next targets are IWS and ILO since they have at least 5-6 plugins to each of them.

IWS? I'd use MMM-NV instead.

I didn't even know there was

I didn't even know there was a MMM for NV, but anyhow it adds a lot of creatures that are simply ripped from other games that don't really fit in well with me

139 is the hard limit man. Anything over 110 or so things get weird.
