A recent addition to the FAQ says that the Willow companion mod is not compatible with TTW because it interferes with the player's ability to leave Doc Mitchell's house after traveling to the Mojave. I think what was happening was that Doc Mitchell was asking the player to "sit down" and answer questions relating to the establishment of perks, traits and tag skills instead of leading the player to the door and returning the player's gear. I believe LllamaRCA's lastest version, released today fixes that issue. At least it has based on my testing.

@Mariofan17-That was my experience too, but it is now in the FAQ as a mod not compatible with TTW, and concerns were expressed about that in her Nexus mod thread. Anyway, it has been fixed so that Doc does not try to get you to "sit down" and answer his stupid questions.

I have checked the bug fix,
I have checked the bug fix, seems to be corrected now. We'll mentioned to be sure and get the update in the FAQ because it's not part of the main package and people use NMM to download and never look at the files tab.

It's still early in the AM
It's still early in the AM here, but wouldn't this require getting Willow before you've naturally travelled to the mojave? The mojave being the only place that you can recruit her? Am I missing something?

@deadboy-for some reason, the bug with Doc Mitchell would happen whether you had recruited Willow or not if you had the Willow.esp in your load order. Why that happened is unknown, but has now been fixed.

That's so weird. I've played with Willow in my load order for longer than I've been using TTW and I've NEVER had that issue. I don't doubt it's real, I just think its weird that I've never had the problem. Thats why I assumed it was due to early Mojave travel then whatever. Super weird.

I have had Willow forever
I have had Willow forever myself. In my first ttw run, I used the train (no early travel) and had to be a decent level to get to the station and do that. When I landed at Doc Mitchell's I experienced the situation where he wanted me to sit down and answer his questions. I knew no better so I did and it ended up resetting all my tag skills. I had no idea what was causing that and would NEVER have suspected Willow. I fixed it then and in subsequent runs by using the "closeallmenus'" command and talking to him again and getting my stuff back. Anyway, in my experience the Doc Mitchell glitch had nothing to do with early travel.

@deadboy and @Thenryb where
@deadboy and @Thenryb where either of you also using thermador's "Difficult Journey" https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/difficult-journey-more-challenging-start-new-vegas as well? I'm specifically wondering if deadboy wasn't using that. Since iirc I was the first one that had originally reported this issue in Willow's thread back in November of 2014. I too had exactly the problem that Thenryb had, Doc would try and go though his questions, reset tagged skills, ect. I narrowed it down to Willow, and as such after that play though simply stopped using her completely.

I was not and am not using
I was not and am not using the "Difficult Journey" mod. Even without the fix, one could simply untick the Willow mod until after you leave Doc's house rather than stop using her altogether if that was the only reason you stopped.
