Is there a mod that has a companion somewhat immersively follow you from the Capital Wasteland over to the Mojave? All of them are nice and all, but I want one companion that follows me on my entire journey:DLCs and all.

The most immersive follower to follow you would be Dogmeat. Who'd leave their dog behind when moving?? When you finally go to NV, try this:

That would allow you to pretend you left Dogmeat in Primm when you picked up the Platinum Chip since you only planned for a quick delivery. Now you have more reason than ever to get back to Primm once you wake at the Doc's place.
