A3-21 plasma rifle help (IGNORE, CHAT HELPED ME)

Post by bishop2905 » Wed Jan 27, 2016 11:16 pm

I recently got to the point in FO3 where I get one of my favorite weapons, A3-21's Plasma Rifle. Unfortunately when I got it, it was using the P94 plasma rifle design with a really low res texture which I really dislike. Is there a FO3 model A3-21 mod for TTW?

I'm currently using EVE TTW and PN TTW.

I wouldn't complain but its my favorite weapon and I use it the majority of the time

Well how I did it was using FNEdit. You select both the new plasma rilfe and the A3-21, then used compare selected files. With the two verisons side by side its easy to drag the model and textures from one side to the other.

Its probably a good idea to copy both as overrides into a new file first to avoid editing any of the main files. I have a esp marked weapons where I have a bunch of little tweaks.

I for instance made the Wazer Wifle look and function like the AER14 laser rifle from the NV section

I'm sorry, could you give a more step-by-step guide? I also want to change the model and texture, but trying to figure out where to start and how to do it with FNEdit
