this is a kinda half baked idea at this point, but hopefully I can see it through.
ideas so far...
- extra cap segments (creatures and humanoids)
- special weapons or ammo that cause the new dismembers
- crawling anim using the swimming animation and some poor rigging
- new blood spurts
- raining giblets
- new sound fx for the gooey pieces hitting objects (hard surface sound like hitting rocks and sand and also tin roof version)
- partial head exploding (new dismember so a portion of the head remains)
- add puncture marks on key areas that when hit show gore until bandaged
- add a first aid system for open wounds
- opened wounds eventually lead to infection, lowering your max health (stimpacks lessen the penalty)
- when reciving an open wound on certain areas (vital spots) you will begin to lose blood and eventually die... unless you get to a doctor
- at low blood levels you begin to feel dizzy and have trouble finding your way around (you start to get blurred vision)
- can hear heart beating slower and slower when notified about blood levels
- with reasonable amounts of medical training you can use blood packs to prolong your life in dire moments (equips onto body and connects like UV)
