Better Living Through Chems- TTW Intergration

Post by Polemicist » Wed Mar 13, 2013 3:52 pm

Hey fellers.

So this is one of my favorite mods, it's a port on a much cleaner, much better FO3 original, however- this version may be a better base to start off with because no scripts require compiling.

Here's what I want to do:

-Add various BLTC chems to Capital Wasteland leveled lists/merchant lists. (Simple enough, though I don't really know how to do this. Leveled lists elude me, still.)

-Speech check for Leo Stahl in Megaton unlocking a dialogue tree for the purchasing of various chems in bulk at a discounted wholesale price, enabling the possibility of large scale drug-dealing/drug-running between the Capital Wasteland and the Mojave Wasteland. (This sounds complicated, but really, all that is required is a speech option that removes caps in exchange for a bulk amount of chems, which is relatively simple but it offers a few interesting/RP friendly/immersive opportunities.)

Is this something that you folks would be interested in? I'm willing to sock in a few hours to figure it out and put the work in.

Oh, my! On a new game, it

Oh, my! On a new game, it appears that SOME of chems from BLTC DO appear in random leveled lists in the Capital Wasteland. However, this port is sloppy. I'd much rather find a way to intergrate the FO3 version into NV, as it seems to be much more complete and it contains additional add-ons.

I'm going to dig around in FNVedit and the GECK a bit more to figure out the leveled list bit, but ultimately there's a lot of scripts in the FO3 version that I hope will fire off in NV.
