Companion Health Regen

Post by rbroab » Fri Feb 15, 2013 10:47 pm

This isn't really a huge issue, so if there's nothing that can be done, it won't be much of a problem.

I've created robot companions using Buildable Bots for Fallout 3. It's a mod that lets you create a robot (protectron, gutsy, sentry), but the mod doesn't make these companions essential. If they lose health, it's gone. If they die, they're gone. Well I set them essential, and they just go unconscious as they should. Problem is, they never get health back or start over. Their health is always just back at 1/320 or something close to that.

Anyway I can make them regen health over time?

The EASIEST way would be to use the console. Target them and type "RestoreAV Health 1000"

RestoreAV never boosts a stat above its max, so it wont give them 1000 health, it will give them max health up to 1000

Great, I'll have to start using that. I'll assume it won't help every time though. But this will definitely work and isn't too much trouble!
