Best new lands mods.

Post by suoert » Wed May 15, 2013 8:28 pm

I just finished playing Beyond boulder dome, And i was amazed by the quality of the world and story it had. It really felt like a new dlc from bethesda/obsidian itself. Now i'm wondering what do you guys consider the best new world mod..

Awesome!

It's always been hard for me

It's always been hard for me to find a good new land. A lot of them are unstable. I've played Angel Park, and A World of Pain. Angel Park was okay. Pretty big, but it was unstable and just kind of seemed like a lot of ideas tossed onto a new map. A World of Pain was good, but it adds a lot of things that cluttered my inventory. That's just me though.

Never got around to playing it, but The Cube, or something along those lines, looked pretty cool. I only saw videos though.

I'm not alright, I'm an equal amount of left.

Also one of the best things

Also one of the best things about beyond boulder dome is that it is more stable than fallout 3 and new vegas combined, i only had one crash in my playtrough of the mod.

There are so many good new lands and quest mods. Usually those with most endorsements are all pretty good.

Can't easily say which it the best, if i had to select one it would probably be this:

A Quest for Heaven 2 - Like a diamond in the sky : http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/12887//?

This is also maybe something to try if you have project nevada's night vision and high sneak and melee, very long quest (about 10 hours or more) is hard and loot is very rare. Not for low level players. Many people have probably missed it because it has zero endorsements.

Blood - Refilled: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/47316//?

Really? Angel Park is always stable for me in FNV... Haven't played it with TTW though yet. Still in DC exploring atm, lol ;)

There are lots of new cool lands.

Top of my list would be Angel Park and AWOP. Actually come to think about it, I really haven't been anywhere else, lol... :D AWOP adds shiteloads of awesome atmospheric locations. FNV AWOP underground is HUGE.

Rat Trap Remastered was cool (FO3), although its a location not a new land (Chinese remnants, awesome atmosphere).

Others I have tried and are OK are Fortune Canyon, Badlands, and Deserters Fortress (all FNV). Wouldn't jump up and down about them though.

Member of the People's Revolutionary Front of Canada and sworn enemy of their arch-rival: The Canadian People's Front. Hoping for a Fallout game around the Great Lakes... Highly unlikely ever, but why dreams exist.

There used to be one that took you to Bermuda I think I'm not sure if still on Nexus though. J3 something was the mod author. I know I suck at remember things at times. The Cube was cool, but I found it very frustrating (puzzles). A quest for heaven series is really good, but that's more of a location than land.
