TTW Compatible Mods?

This may be a silly question for those of you who are long time modders but,  my question is... What is the major differences between a TTW Compatible Mod and any other Mod created by the GECK? I am asking because I have general familiarization with the GECK and making simple mods but I'm not sure how to beggin modding for TTW. I Think this Is a sensational project and I would like to contribute by making a mod or two. If I make a mod, how do I make it compatible with TTW?  I suppose I am asking for some pointers in the right direction. Thanks in advance! :)

TTW compatible mods are mods that were built specifically for TTW. So technically, as long as you load TTW into the geck when you mod, it is a TTW compatible mod. The thing is, though, people expect a TTW compatible mod to have taken into account both wastelands and its impact on them.


TTW compatible mods can also be mods that are verified to work with TTW flawlessly even though they were not SPECIFICALLY built for TTW. An example would be a mod that makes Freeside all one cell. That mod was not built for TTW but is considered TTW compatible because it doesn't do anything unexpected when loaded alongside TTW.

The combination of FOSE and the dependencies make it seem like it would be difficult, if not impossible.
