Haven't heard much of anything about PR with 2.0+
Wondering if anyone is using it or thinks it might cause problems. For now, I have Nevada Skies URWLified working. Fixed the issue with blackouts at noon and midnight. I've always wanted to try PR so opinions are appreciated.
With the fallout new vegas version of PR you don't get the darker nights but you do get the weather, also the fallout new vegas version has an issue where the fps can tank when it is raining that occurs without TTW.
Yeah, I've heard that also. Any other issues? Mainly looking for compatibility problems with TTW
Fps tanking is the result of subtle DOF suddenly enabling itself, not the rain. Anytime it happens simply going into mcm and enabling, and then disabling this setting will get you back to optimum fps. As for the Darker nights, doesn't work with DC like it used to, but everything else works fine.

If you start to lag really bad after a while of using PR, go into the mcm menu and toggle subtle DOF on and off. Apparently there's some sort of leak there that causes a massive drop in framerate after a while. Other than that, it seems to work just fine for me.
Thanks, hadn't heard anything about that. Have to try it out. haven't had an issues with PR yet though. Then again, haven't had all the weather types occur.
Any good mods that work well with PR? Things like Hectrol's dust storm and Mojave Nights.
Based on my testing the fps loss, for me at least, has nothing to do with DOF turning on and everything to do with the rain emitters being used. As for mods that work well with PR, I really don't know about that.
