What is the best texture pack combo's overall for TTW?

I tried using just NMC at first, but I don't like how red it made the soil and rocks in DC I also noticed some objects in megaton were in a glossy white edge look (I might swap those offending ones out with other pieces in the geck).

But I was wondering what HQ HD texture packs you guys use to enhance your experience? I'm mostly looking for terrain/lod and buildings/equipment.

edit: also, does anyonme know what mod messes up the .44 magnum retexture? I'm gunna try narrowing it down now.

Get the washed out textures off NMC's New Vegas page to fix that.

Yeah washed out wasteland makes it grey like it is IRL, I use that too.

NMC's are best, but they don't cover the DLC's, no one has taken them on except EWI did rocks for the NV ones.

There some others from Ojo Bueno that NMC's doesn't have, and I prefer some of them from it myself. There is also a lot of single ones from Hectrol and Macintroll. I can give you a list of all the ones I currently use if you like which cover stuff from armor and weapons to clutter, books, icons and other stuff.

I'm also curios what you guys do for these awful LODs. You guys have anything that targets LODs that goes with NMC well?

enneract: I think he means farther draw distance (without ugrids) and higher res landscape LOD. I too want better landscape LOD... but no idea how to make it.

You kinda have to pay attention to the rock skirt texture , basically when you want to combine stuff from packs you have to look at each texture. or check them in game one at a time which is time consuming.

No I can't upload my set... that's way against the wishes of the authors and I won't do that.
