Post by Risewild » Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:18 am

I love a small little mod made by The 3rd Type and DekoMan91 called "Misc Item Icons - New Vegas" and of course the "Misc Item Icons" for FO3 too wink.

A nice addition to the Strip. It's a crime to finish Dead money and not been able to make use of the Sierra MAdre Casino anymore.

EDIT: Hey who is making posts using my name? surprise I definitely didn't post this...

Lost all of my mods, save for a few left in the TTW backup. Help me rebuild my collection. Both FO3 and NV are appreciated, but please try to list what's what.

Anyway, now is a good chance for a fresh start. What are mods you guys can't play without or enjoy? Favorites? I'm willing to take a look at any.

Companion mods, weather mods, immersion mods, stability, weapons, enemies, quests, buildings/homes, aesthetic, bug fixes, EVERYTHING.

What are your favorites? What won't you play without?

Try and keep it TTW compatible, and try and post links. In the mean time, I'll try and get back to work on one of my old mods and hopefully soon you guys can play it.

I'm not alright, I'm an equal amount of left.

Delta534 said he is going to work on a TTW compatible Cirosan's Classic Overhaul. I highly recommend this mod if you've played and enjoyed Fallout 1 and 2. It's also fully compatible with Project Nevada. Though I'm not sure about the Extra Options that Gribble is working on is compatible with CCO. Look above for my earlier post with the link.

Orik is working on a Fellout conversion. Unfortunately, I believe permissions is an issue. It might not be, idk,  talk to him for more info. As for the DC lights, I can't see that being too hard to convert. Arwen's mods, well that's a different story.

Fallout NV: Too many to list.

Post by frenzyslave » Wed Apr 17, 2013 8:59 am

Fallout NV: Too many to list. Restrict it to a few then... Top 5 would be:

AWOP - absolutely awesome - well detailed areas, and LOTS of new places to explore. Also makes the game more dangerous and challenging. Definitely love the new weapons - you had to actually grind to get them. Its also compatible with MoMod (patch adds critters to AWOP areas :D).

Project Nevada - Wowsa, this does soooo much! Absolutely must have. With the Mod Configuration Menu, everything comes customisable so that you can control and have the game how you want it. Also expands cybernetics and adds stuff to the game (the fallout 3 combat shotie).

NVBounties (I + II) - Awesome as well, enjoy the thrill of hunting some schmuck down. Some nasty surprises too, and a good storyline.

Shotgun Commando Redone - A more modernised version of 00 Shotgun Commando, it handles it by script so you don't need the patches and its super compatible. I love the shotguns in the game (I cant aim for crap), and this makes things alot more realistic as FO3 and FNV serious nerfed the shoties.

MoMod OR MonsterMod - More critters to shoot at! A lovely diversified safari is a good thing. Angel Park 2 was also good, from the same maker of MoMod.

Fallout 3: Top 5 would be:

AWOP FO3 - Woohoo!! Obviously a fan. More locations! More shooting! More stories!

DarnUI - Awesome interface compared to what the vanilla FO3/FNV was like. I mean honestly FNV, you think you would improve that, lol.

ConelRad - Awesome radio station, very very lore. Even available for FNV ;) The BEST radio station out there in my opinion.

Larger Address Aware - because the games deserve more grunt, damnit, lol. 4gbfnv (or the 3gb for a FO3 game).

FWE - But I don't think it will be compatible. Besides, Project Nevada is better ;)

Member of the People's Revolutionary Front of Canada and sworn enemy of their arch-rival: The Canadian People's Front. Hoping for a Fallout game around the Great Lakes... Highly unlikely ever, but why dreams exist.

DC Subway for Fallout 3. Awesome real-time underground tube riding that doesn't seem to want to convert for TTW.

Hardly essential for gameplay. But for fun and novelty it gets a 10.

Has anyone converted this for TTW?

If you guys want to

If you guys want to circumvent the travel system (yes all the travel mods use the same system) all you have to do is coc to where you wanna be.

My project Dash is on Kickstarter!
