Conversion Request - Core Robots

I have tried to convert this mod myself with no luck:

It makes some of the robots of the wasteland a little cooler looking and more threatening. If whoever converted it could also expand it into NV I'd be incredibly grateful, but a straight conversion would be cool too.

I just tried working on it. And, well... The reason why your game will crash is because of all the errors. There are MANY errors, and the only way to solve this is to resolve all errors. I started on the protectron.esp and all that's left in that plugin is the creature list, the rest are resolved.


The reason why I stopped was because it's a LOT of work. Many of the changes to the creatures (protectrons and the other robots) are <Error: Could not be resolved.> These include their factions, inventories, and some others. It's not a pull this over here conflict resolved. 


I am posting what I did until I stopped below. Only resolved some conflicts on the protectrons, everything else is converted using the script. Sorry if this was unclear, pretty tired.

I do not think that the author really wants this mod ported to FNV and by association TTW due to his own words on that mod page:

Regarding New Vegas Porting Of My Mods.

I will not be hosting or creating any ports of my mods to NV.



This is do to the fact that I don't agree with the policies of "Steam" and therefor I have chosen not to install the game.



So I think that the author doesn't want his/her work to be used in any game that uses Steam, but the only way to be sure is to ask directly.


So unless someone can show me that the author gave permission for a TTW or FNV conversion I will not authorize it being done or distributed around here (of course this is my interpretation of the author's words so if anyone else on the team interprets it in a different way and authorizes is, than it will be fine by me.).


Sorry for the grumpy old guy post.

I completely understand, Rise, and did not by any means intend to get anyone in any kind of trouble. I just really love that mod and want to get it to work for myself.


Getting permission directly from the author will prove difficult seeing as they've been banned from Nexus and google has proven useless to me for finding them on other venues.

No problem, it's all good. I am the one that needs to apologize since I think I might have come out a bit aggressive broken heart it wasn't my intention but text doesn't really translate very well cheeky.
