TES5edit 3.0.29 has ben released

Post by chucksteel » Mon Mar 18, 2013 7:58 pm

This may seem off topic but in fact TES5edit can be used with all Bethesda games simply by changing it's name to the game you want to use it with.

For our purposes download TES5edit extract the files and, change the TES5edit.exe's name to FNVedit.exe.

Download Link,TES5edit

Edit: Forgot to say that this is important because FO3 Mod conversion in TTW v.20a relies on FNVedit (Tes5edit) 3.0.29. With this and, the upcoming release of TTW v2.0a FO3 mod conversion will be available.

What about the "Skyrim

Post by Kainschylde » Mon Mar 18, 2013 10:31 pm

What about the "Skyrim.hardcoded..." file? Should it be changed to FNV.hardcoded or left alone?

You don't need it BUT you

You don't need it BUT you should already have an FNV.hardcoded... in your FNV folder. If you do not, find an old version of FNVEdit (On the NV nexus) and take JUST its hardcoded file.

It makes little difference

All of the versions of xEdit in the past year or so were all the same program but with different names.

So don't think that is some special trick or something.

Oh ok then. I knew you could

Oh ok then. I knew you could rename the program to do different things (MasterUpdate, restore, ect.) but I didn't know you could rename it so it could work with an entirely different game (provided you have the FNV hardcoded, or Skyrim hardcoded, etc.) That's a nifty program.

Looking at your screenshot

Looking at your screenshot the troubles comes from shotgun commando. Maybe...

Also I have seen a race mode in it. Be careful most of the custom player races make troubles with TQL and OA.

And last but not least the merged patch breaks the rockit-launcher in the actual version of TTW.
