Moriaty screwing over his

Post by sesom » Wed Mar 13, 2013 5:38 am

My 2 cents:

Moriaty screwing over his customers wherever he can fits for me. So I can imagine him to have a slot machine.

It's harder for me to see a dealer with a blackjack table there. Also in Paradise Falls because they aren't very successful as slavers. I am a bit undecided with underworld. But they struggle to to survive so I don't think they would gamble.

Rivet City is pretty straight but there is always the Muddy Rudders where I can imagine gambling.

The only place where I can see professional gambling with dealer (blackjack and actually better fitting roulette) in the CW is Tenpenny Towers . The money is there and they have a pretty boring live.

My main issue is where do

Post by JaxFirehart » Wed Mar 13, 2013 6:14 am

My main issue is where do they get the slot machines? A deck of cards and some cash is all that's needed to play blackjack.

Another big issue is atmosphere. Slot machines are dedicated gambling, you think slot machines in America, you think Vegas, or Atlantic City, or Native American Reservations. I think seeing them in DC would be strange and out of place.

They machines could be

The machine (I am talking about one for Moriaty) could be scavenged. Thinking about Fallout 1 (junktown) and 2 it seems that the prewar gambling laws in the fictional Fallout universe where a bit different.

Sure my pereception is a bit different because I live in Europe where you can find some sort of gambling (slot machines, bet's) on every corner sadly.

Well this is still early WIP,

Well this is still early WIP, this is going to end up being a collaboration between Jax, Sesom and, I to get the best gambling fit into DC. I'm doing the basic set up now and, things will likely change.

I was thinking about adding a gambler to Moriarty's and, possibly a Dealer but, your Roll Play idea does seem to fit. I'm adding blackjack to Rivet city, Canturburry commons, and, underworld now. Tenpenny tower is likely a gambling hot spot but, there are things that we will need to address like what happens if the player helps the Ghouls take over or, not.

Edit: the Slots in Moriarty's may get killed but, I wanted to have the asset built just in case someone wants to mod them back in if they don't make the TTW cut.

What kind of earning limits are you placing on the gambling?
