Gambling at Moriarty's and maybe one other place. Otherwise it's too much. Definitely none in Rivet City.

I'm thinking the random Black Jack Game kind of makeshift just people betting for fun.
Moriartie's and, Tenpenny would be the only real casino type locations.
Here is a screen of Makeshift Black Jack in Canturburry Commons.

Again this is only a rough idea I'm playing around with.
Nothing is set in stone.

That's awesome work Chuck, looks so good.
I gotta ask though, will this effectively be like black jack is being played on the bar top; and will the actual table top represent the gambling interface (steak and whiskey included)?
Final one man. What's the plan for implementing the new dealer in the saloon, I'm guessing you've added a new dialogue topic to Gob?

Well we haven't gotten that far yet. Me and sesom are talking about the best way to implement this at the moment. I'm only building the resources needed for now. Slots Work, Two Black Jack stations are done. I will be doing more for Underworld and, Rivet City. I'm not really sure where this will go just yet.
Edit: I'm also trying to make it look less like a casino and, more of a random game that just happened. which is why there is food an liquor laying about.

For the dealers I think original NPCs shouldn't be touched. It's a lot easier and more compatible to add new ones. Also it allows to reuse original spoken NV lines.

Makeshift cardgames look pretty coo! Would it be possible retexturing the chips to bottle caps?

Slots in any place that doesn't have people living there make no sense. Who manages the machines, fills them up, empties them, etc? Nobody.
To be honest, I think that maybe blackjack in Moriarty's and Tenpenny and that's it. No slots, nothing else. It just doesn't really feel like DC with gambling, and I never even gamble much in Vegas. To me it's something that is there as a diversion to playing the game, and adds nothing to the actual game itself.
On top of that, it's a far departure from original Fo3, and I just think that, if it's done, it should be as a separate addon that people can choose not to use.

Personally, I think the blackjack is a great addition. The slots... I could be convinced but I'm leaning that it feels strange. In my opinion, I actually don't see Tenpenny as having gambling, not for any real reason, just feels wrong. I really like the idea of having blackjack in Paradise Falls, Underworld, and Megaton. Rivet city and Canterbury Commons, again, it feels out of place to me.
Perhaps this is something to leave as a mod, considering the vast mixed feelings...

kind of agree with you on this one but I'm trying to make things useful to the team. I'm building Resources that an be used later.
