Visit the moon and mars

I was thinking it might be possible to add a mod where you can visit the moon and mars from the Mothership Zeta DlC. The way it works is that you can use something similar to a shuttle, and fly yourself over there. In order to go there though, the spacesuit must be equipped by your character in order to avoid getting killed upon exiting the shuttle. While the surface has mutated, so has the moon and mars. There are ghouls and nightcrawlers that have finally gotten out of hibernation due to your arrival. There is also a moon base with a crew that has been cryogenically frozen prior to the war. Getting to the moon was relatively easy, but due to a crash landing you are now marooned on Mars until the shuttle is repaired. On Mars there are mutant versions of bloatflies and molerats to be on the look out for as you make your way through the reddish surface looking for anything that can replace the broken parts. Scattered throughout the surface are remnants of old crashed satellites with parts still intact. 


What do you think of the idea? Is there anything I need to tweak? I was inspired by these moon terrain textures.

I think the idea is good, but no creatures! Use robots instead. It would be sensible that the cryogenically frozen Moon Base inhabitants are lovingly watched over by insane robots. And the occasional group of aliens trying to kill you for taking one of their ships. So Robco robots, alien robots, and aliens in spacesuits. Seems like a decent batch of opponents to me!

Sounds great! I love science fiction ideas! You might consider a "martian" experimental station (dungeons so to speak), where, let's say, that one repair person on the Zeta ship goes to instead of just disappearing (looking for a friend maybe? even have cameo appearances of people who were "kidnapped" by aliens for their... err... experiments!). A quest mod to figure out where she went, interestingly enough, you could tie in Vegas too (a TTW specific mod?), by learning from Bright there's a place on the moon (he saw as he was flying around in orbit- Lol! and left a note or something), and have the quest progress from there. You might even consider having to locate one of Bright's "grounded" rockets, help repair it, then have them drop you off on the moon. Then you'll need to figure out how to get back to Earth and maybe that repair lady is the key!
