I've noticed that the higher level I get, the more "expensive" items get dropped. Soon, you collect more than what your able to sell and I have to start storing it. How about a "Cap-o-Matic", which is like a mail drop-box for the caravan (in lore only), where you dump your items in, them come back later and collect the caps. That way you can dump a ton of stuff without having to carry or store it. Something simple like the "mailboxes" for the custom skyrim houses, MCM would be nice to configure the % per item and the "collection" time. It might even be possible to put it along the trade routes and have the caravan just "stop" in that area as if they were collecting the items, then continue on their way.

Can we get the base value of items via script?

put up mojave boxes, run a menu to open the container or ship the container. on ship, it tallies up the value of everything inside of it, runs a gameday check for coming back, removes all those items and when the gameday is correct, it dumps the caps = value into the container.
