[request] Immersive Power Armor TTW Patch

This: www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61299/ is a great mod that backports one of the features of fo4: the neccesity of wearing power armors frames to wear power armor, and the ability to leave power armor on a frame the you can enter and exit at will. While it's %100 compatible with ttw, the author has only hand placed frames in the mojave, and I assume the leveled lists also only work for the mojave. You can still craft frames, but it'd be great if they were available in obvious places in the DC wasteland.


If someone could hand place like a dozen frames in obvious and not so obvious places, and add frames to leveled lists where necessary, that would be awesome. (Also, if you take the time to do that, could you also force frames to spawn on npcs wearing power armor?)


That seems pretty simple to me, but I have no idea how to do it. If anyone could take a little time and make this, I would be incredibly grateful. Thanks.

Any of you tried asking the author if he would make a TTW version? He seemed to say he might make one for FO3 so with luck he could also make a TTW compatible one.


If the mod is still being maintained, made, updated, etc, the original author should always be asked to make a patch or version for TTW. If the author says no then it should be asked permission for someone else to make a TTW version.


We need to respect the original author, and no one around here would make a TTW patch for a mod while the author is still maintaining it without them saying that they won't make it and without them giving explicit permission for others do so.

There were a couple of requests in the comments, but he wrote that "Manually placing the frames in the Capital Wasteland is impossible for me, since I can't run TTW". He actually commented in the ppa ttw thread, linking his mod when he released it, but no one replied to him, which leads me to think he intended it to be used with ttw, but couldn't make the patch himself.. I'll leave a post on the mod asking if it's okay to be patched for ttw.

The dropping does work for TTW. It's a 2% chance of dropping of anyone in power armor I believe. It's got nothing to do with lists.

Usually each vendor has their own list unless they are generic vendors like "Wasteland Merchant" or something like that. At least that is what I seem to remember.
