what i always found odd , is that there is only 1 baby in the entire game (the cure)


does that mean that no kid was born in the last ten years?


is the cure not only the last hope for the pitt, but for the entire wasteland?


the basic idea is to place some babies in some settlements like megaton, republic of dave, rivet city, goodsprings, primm, novac and freeside red rock canyon aqnd maybe even a son for motorrunner in vault 3


it would make the world feel more real and alive and way more depressing knowing that babies have to survive this horror


and as a future mother myself( im in the third month) i would like to see some babies in the wasteland


any opinions?

Introducing babies is a good Idea. It is a simple task with the GECK. You can do it yourself. I don't know if there is some behavior that already exists for NPCs to take care of those babies.


Without those behaviors it won't create more life. 


Congratulations for your motherhood. My advice sleep as much as you can. When your baby will be with you, sleeping will be a hard thing to do.

and yeah putting some in the world is easy with the geck but like u said Without those behaviors it won't create more life


and im actually try to learn some scripting for another mod i would like to create( https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/how-remove-grass-bushes-tumbleweed-dust-and-other-stuff)atm


but to tell the truth with only my basic english its nearly impossible to understand how to script


and i never found a german tutorial to use


next is that i need to focus on some other stuff than modding at the moment u know making my apartment baby-safe and all that stuff


i am a  bit afraid that none of my ideas ever get made

My pal ChuckSteel made a baby launcher. You can literally put babies anywhere.


 


Totally just kidding. Place the babies, and then make packages that simulates the nearby NPCs interacting with them. It's not totally realistic, but it's better than no babies at all, I'd assume.

there's only one baby in all of fallout, it's basically just an animation attached to a crib with some scripted noise making.  check it (the crib) for sandboxes and check madea and the mom (i never remember her name, i usually just kill her after eating the baby, i'm a horrible person.) to see if they've got packages related to it.


perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.
