More FWE features for TTW - PN compatible

We all know that PN carries FWE features to Fallout New Vegas, and through TTW to Fallout 3. But does anyone else feel like it is not quite the same? What made FWE such a terrific experience for me was the variety of enemies you might come across like Super Mutant Berserkers, Fallen Brothers. Hell, I've even faced Super Mutant Overlord in Museum of Technology. My point is in FWE you were practically treated to a wasteland that is out to kill you. I am not saying PN is any different but playing through TTW with PN doesn't give me that mortal terror I felt playing with FWE. And that mortal terror was with tweaked settings in-game. More enemy variety would do wonders for TTW, in my opinion.


And one more thing, another thing that made FWE so great was the variety of big guns. Can we also have those for TTW-- I mean PN-- I mean TTW PN-compatible? smiley

I wish I had experienced Fallout 3 on the PC before New Vegas. Now I can't stand to play through Fallout 3 proper.

If you're looking for more enemies, just get MoMod. Although be warned, it has its fair share of glitches, and you'll need to use Version 10A (Version 10B more or less insta-crashes the game for some reason), which is no longer available on the Nexus (although it can be found elsewhere).

I'd really love to see the expanded Outcast Tech Quests from FWE modded to work with TTW. Being able to trade in more stuff with Casdin via a chest and receive credits to purchase a much expanded list of items from him is a feature I really miss.


 


i also really miss the alternate fast travel system in DC from FWE that required you to use that motorcycle. Having to keep it repaired and fuelled added to the immersion and being able to story items in it was great for transporting gear around. Again I'd love to see that appear in TTW at some point.

What you just described is basically the outcast trading optional plugin for TTW, at least the whole trade with casdin and casdin having mor supplies.
