Mod Request - No Car Explosions

Im wondering if anyone has a mod that prevents car explosions in TTW. All the cars explode when ever a stray bullet hits me, always killing me in HardCore. I would like to prevent them.

Puce Moose made a mod to increase the damage cars have to take before exploding. You could download that and (optionally) remove the damage/ explosion settings.

this is an unhelpful comment.  i usually just stay the hell away from cars anytime there might be someone shooting at me.


perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

This is also an unhelpful comment. If you remove the car explosions while you play in Hardcore mode, wouldn't that make it less Hardcore?

How quickly the cars explode make it un-realistic, hardcore yes, but I prefer realism-hardcore.

Well, the cars aren't fueled by gas, who knows how much damage it take for a fusion engine to become unstable.

They'll explode, but take a lot more damage before doing so.  Bump the health numbers in FNVEdit to taste.

I like the idea of using cars for cover....besides....you know, it would be nice if instead of exploding, the cars instead blew out a fuckton of radiation....but only if the car were getting pelted with heavy automatic, probably armor piercing ammunition.


 


Also, I'm trying out your mod Senterpat, here's hoping....
