Start FNV dlc in FO3 world space?

Post by Smi1e » Mon Feb 03, 2014 5:57 am

I was just wondering is there a way/mod to start the dead money and old world blues dlc's in the capital wasteland?

Thanks.

I'm sure it would be not be too much difficulty, But it would make absolutely no sense since the dlc all takes place around the mojave wasteland that's on the other side of the country.

Really why would you want to do that?

years of internet exposure

years of internet exposure has taught me that asking "why" people want things has about a 50/50 chance of returning an answer related to porn.  so i don't ask "why" anymore.

perms:  either a full fireworks display spelling out "Puppettron Made This" anytime a user accesses my content in-game, or just give me credit somewhere.

Well, one "justification" for

Well, one "justification" for completing FNV DLC when you are still in FO3 is that, you will have to fire all your companions in some DLC (eg. Lonesome road) or the 100lb limit before you go to Zion. That will be a pain on the *ss if you are already on a very late stage of the game or some companions cannot be rehire once you fire them (eg. Niner).........

When I replay FNV, I usually use console command to jump to the quest point and finished all DLC soon after I step out of Dr Mitchell's house.......

I think it would be lore

I think it would be lore friendly for OWB to be startable in DC, after all the distance doesn't matter much, since they teleport the player there. ( I think)

In the others though you have alot of people referring to you as the courier, which if you haven't gone to NV yet, wouldn't make much sense.

OWB's story still wouldn't

OWB's story still wouldn't make sense because it references things that happened right before Dead Money and several of the end slides talk about the Mojave. Plus the transportalponder at the end would take you to the Mojave.
