FNV Realistic Wasteland Lighting

Post by LaEspada » Sun Mar 23, 2014 7:41 pm

Just a request for TTW conversion so it would work for both the Mojave and Capital wasteland. The author said they were going to do a FO3 version, but not a TTW.

You should contact the original author about this so they can link it or something.

wow I didn't know how good

Post by Kai Hohiro » Tue Apr 01, 2014 5:17 am

wow I didn't know how good FNVRWL looks. Check out the screen below, this is just FNVRWL with a few tweaks through the Imaginator mod, no ENB or sweetfx or anything like that.

And TWT compatibility patch is attached to this post, you need to load it after the fnvrwlo esp (ie it should be pretty much at the bottom of your loadorder). The patch isnt quite finished yet because I am not sure yet how the DLC stuff will look, but the FO3 worldspace should be FNVRWL.

It wont break anything, so go ahead and use it and if you do discover some place where FNVRWL isnt applied properly please let me know and I'll fix it. Oh and if you use this on an existing save game in the DC Wasteland you need to move to a different cell so the new weather applies.

Edit1: Made an update to the file, I've decided now to keep the weathers of the DLCs intact and only change their main Imagespace Modifier. This way they will have a semi fnrvwlo appearance but still look different than the wasteland.

I'm still getting the green

Post by RoyBatty » Tue May 13, 2014 8:04 am

I'm still getting the green tint over the wasteland and the sun looks a bit funny and there is no clouds. It looks fine when I'm inside megaton.

Thanks Kai for the patch, it's nice to have options for Nevada Skies and Project Reality.

Make sure it's loaded last.

Ok that worked... strange it

Post by RoyBatty » Fri May 16, 2014 9:25 am

Ok that worked... strange it doesn't conflict with anything else in my load order. Just weird it needs to be last.

perfect just what I was

Post by Vandenburger » Tue Jun 17, 2014 8:49 am

perfect just what I was looking for,  I found Nevada Skies weather systems transitioned too much and a few seemed out of place in DC this is perfect
