Operation Anchorage Simulation with Power Armor

I always thought it was a rip Operation Anchorage, that even through you are in a simulation that teaches you how to use Power Armor, you can't use power armor until you complete the simulation. How about a mod to give a little Virtual Reality Love and let our hero use some power armor to kick Chinese butt!

Because you don't need to out run a Deathclaw.
You just need to out run your companions (Just bring a lot of companions in case the Deathclaw is really hungry!).

ok, so i put together a script on a quest, when you wake up in OA with the winter combat armor, it'll add the winter PA to you.  you can throw it away or keep it or stage puppet shows with it or whatever.


also, it drops a crate next to the quartermaster.  any time you have a requisition on you, that crate will spawn a set of power armor in it (if there's not already one in there) so that when the QM clears your equipment to (re)outfit you, you can still have the t51 setup.  if you're using the OA requisition optional plugin, you'll never have requisitions, so the crate will be empty, but you can req powered armor if you can convince the QM to open stocks.


 


mod contains:  1 script, 1 quest, 1 container.  no conflicts.

if yours is better, convert it and upload it.  i did mine in like an hour while watching TV, and it shows.

@KingGed Would be a nice to have. I never understood why the player did not have Power Armor in the simulation, but received it afterwards.
