Game freeze after a few minutes of playing and then crashes in the capital wasteland.

Post by Aerialvas » Fri Jun 29, 2018 2:59 pm

Hello,
As i described my problem in the title name, my game freeze for a few frames after 10-15 minutes of playing and then crashed, for now, i was only able to stay in the capital wasteland since i haven't progressed that much in the game so i can't say if the game crashes in the mojave but i haven't got any problems when i play without tales of two wastelands.

System Specs : Last update of Windows 10, I7-4790K, 8Gb 1600Mhz.

Mod Manager and Version : Mod organizer 1.3.11

TTW Install Log : File attachments.

Current Load Order : File attachments.

Symptoms : Games freeze for a few frames then crashes, don't happen in my usual fallout new vegas gameplay.

What you have already tried : Modifiying load order, tried using loot load order, did everything in the performance guide https://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/ttw-performance-guide , i tried doing everything listed here but was not able to http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/mod-organizer-users-please-read ( All bsa except default new vegas ones are greyed out and i can't move them, only new vegas ones, uploaded a screenshot in file attachments. )

Fallout new vegas and fallout 3 versions : Both steam, Fallout new vegas ultimate edition and Fallout 3 - Game of the Year Edition.

Your load order is wrong, and

Your load order is wrong, and you are using mods that are not compatible with TTW. Bashed patches do not work correctly with the current released version of TTW because of plugin version differences. Mod Organizer 1 is not supported.

Okay, so i removed every mod

Okay, so i removed every mod that did not had a ttw patch, removed the bashed patch, rebuilt my messy load order but the game still crashed, turns out the nvse_config.ini heapalloc was what made my game crash, i removed the nvse and used instead the NVSR heap replacement and for now i've played for two hours without any stability issues.
So if anyone has the same problem as me, you could try to use the NVSR Heap Replacement instead of the NVSE heapalloc.

Also by Mod Organizer not supported i don't think he meant Mod Organizer won't work since i've been able to play TTW with it, i think he just meant that he cannot offer any support for Mod Organizer users but i may be wrong.
