Moriarty's Saloon TTW crash

Post by CapeWrath » Sat Jul 01, 2017 12:53 am

Hello,

First of all this is my first forum post, so I apologize in advance for any rules I may break.

So, I have just found out about this awesome project and installed TTW for the first time. Everything went fine, until I tried to enter Moriarty's Saloon in Megaton. I have no other mods and followed the instructions from the download page to install TTW with FOMM (including the hotfix patch at the end of the page). I left TTW installing while I went away and my laptop battery died in the middle of the process. So I deleted everything and started again, I wonder if that has anything to do with my issue.

I'm uploading the latest install log I could find and my current load order

Here are my (relevant) system specs:

Processor: Intel Core i5 3210m @2.50 GHz

RAM: 8GB

Other Computer Info: Windows 7 x64 Home Basic OEM Latin America

Fallout Versions: Fallout III GOTY and Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition from Steam

Yeah, if you start by installing TTW over your existing FNV game, you might miss little things like that which either need to be turned off (like YUP) or patched (like Project Nevada). smiley

edit: I was having the same problem, seems to be working after I turned my computer off and back on this morning. After playing for a couple hours and returning Moriarty is wearing clothes again lol.

You probably started from a load where most of this stuff was already loaded. For fixes to work immediately, you need to load from a save made BEFORE any of the fixed stuff is ever encountered. For things like Moriarty's, that generally means a save made right before entering Megaton. After playing elsewhere for long enough, the cell will reset, but until then, you may have a mess where the fix is blending with the old stuff.
