TTW Crash on New Game / Load Game

Post by brrine » Mon Jun 19, 2017 7:06 pm

Hey guys, I'll try to provide as much information as I can so you can help and to follow the rules...

I just recently started to replay TTW from start at FO3 after several months of not playing. Before, I had previously played through the entire main story and some of the side quests of FO3 in TTW and gone into NV. This time I just fired up the game again without updating anything (from what I could tell nothing had a newer version out anyways) and I managed to get through the vault, to Megaton and from there I went to head up Blood Ties in Arefu. The game crashed (application has stopped working) when I exited the West house and went to talk to Evan King.

I tried to relaunch the game and it would crash (application has stopped working) every time I tried to reload the save or start a new game. I tried disabling mods, checking load order but it didn't seem to make a difference. Today I completely uninstalled and reinstalled FO3 and NV and reinstalled TTW with the small amount of mods I was using. The mods can be seen in the loadorder.txt attached, but they are basically as follows:

  • Project Nevada

  • WeaponModsExpanded

  • EVE

My system specs are as follows:

  • Windows 10

  • Intel i7 4770k

  • 16GB RAM

  • GTX 980

  • Using FOMM 0.14.11.12

I'm using GOTY edition FO3 and Ultimate FNV from Steam.

I seem to have both installer logs from the first time and from today.

That actual seems to have fixed that issue. Thank you. I didn't think to check NVAC and I went ahead and did all three of those things. Now I seem to have an issue with glowing blue water that wasn't there before that I will need to research.

Rerun the default launcher and setup your graphics options again.
