How exactly do we proceed with this? I finally found a short video that answered one seemingly overlooked thing. How to get FMM to see some of these patch files. Here for those like me who don't know the basics. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tWJRZ-uJSaM
However I'm not 100% if some of the necessary patches need to be turned into fomods, or if they are supposed to be copy pasted over previous files. I can't even find NIF files for the shotgun fix. Given what I've learned hoping this means use FMM to turn it into a fomod? Going to assume the same thing for the vault suit fix. Since I couldn't find a matching file. The long loading time fixes, are those overwrites or should they be converted to fomods and loaded?

If the patches have the same
If the patches have the same name as the files you already have installed then they are overwrites. If they are not the same then you can make a fomod if you want to (it makes installing and uninstalling them easier) or you can just extract them from their archived files (.zip, .rar, .7z, etc) and just put the extracted files in your Fallout New Vegas Data folder and then activate them using FOMM.
Hope this helps, if you have any more questions feel free to ask
