So here's my problem: I've downloaded the TTW installer and installed it, and it seemed to go over fine, but when I move the FOMOD files to the NV folder and try to activate TTW via using the Package Manager on FOMOD, it loads for only a minute and then gives me the following error report.

"A problem occurred during install - The execution has failed due to the bug in the SevenZipSharp - Please report about it to [URL], post the release number and attach the archive. - The mod was not installed."

I looked around on the web, and most forum posts on the bug say it's a problem with my C: memory. I deleted a lot of my old Steam games I don't play anymore, making around 200GB of free space for it to use, but it still says the same error report so I think it's not a memory issue. At least, for me. Any thoughts?  

Also, both my Fallout games (NV and 3) were purchased on Steam, and I'm almost 100% sure they're the most current versions.

Clean out your temp folders with disk cleanup. You need 30-40 GB of free space on your drive to install.

Do no use 7zip versions from the windows app store, download and install the latest one from 7zip.org to correct issues.

I used the disk cleanup to clear the temp folders, then found them on my PC and double checked just to be sure, and ran FOM again. Still no luck, I got the same error message. I'm thinking at this point manual install is the only way as difficult as it seems, unless there might be some other very obscure reason why this keeps happening.

As @Roy correctly says this issue is due to a lack of hard drive space but it also on rare occasions pops up because of overly zealous AV software preventing file operations.

So if you are 100% sure you have enough HDD space, temporarily disable your AV and try again.

Sorry: Jumped the gun and manual installed. just kinda got tired of it, especially since I have way too many AV programs that ran out of the free trial. Thanks for the advice tho, I'll keep it in mind the next time I need to install.

uhm you should use ONE AV program, more than one will screw up your computer.
