Everyone seems to have lost their hair however, XD. Waking up to cue ball Doc Mitchell almost made me lose my breakfast.

Probably FCO - the last time I tried it, it was missing a LOT of textures. There are probably a few unnamed dependencies that you have to hunt down through the messages. I wound up uninstalling it... got tired of the purple faces and missing hair and whatnot.

I submitted a bug report to them, I hope this gets sorted out soon. When you said known bug, did you mean this is common among those who could get their games working post-anniversary update? Or has this been a persistent issue?

It's been reported numerous times on the nexus and also on steam. Nvidia seems to be ignoring the issue however.

That's a shame, I guess I'll have to look for another solution... I'd rather not but perhaps rolling my drivers way back might have a chance at solving this?

Seems like they changed their tune and will fix it in the next driver release.

That's good to hear... This morning, I don't know if it has something to do with restarting (pretty sure I already did that), or perhaps even archive invalidating (not entirely sure I did that previously) if meshes/textures can "carry over" from a previous installation but I'm seeing hair on the models again. Either or... I gotta start trying to mod everything again XD...
Inb4 Nvidia fixes everything, breaks my game and I need to start over again.
That's what I figured as well... I just did a clean install of new vegas and this issue is persisting even in the vanilla game. All I have installed currently are NVSE and the beta NVAC. The game loads just fine in Doc Mitchell's house, except for him and every model in the race menu missing all their hair.
The facial model detail still resembles FCO, so I'm beginning to wonder if there is anything lingering from my prior installation outside of its folders in Steam and my Documents.
