"Your version of Fallout3.esm cannot be patched. This is abnormal."

Hey Everyone,

I own both games legally.  I own FNV from Steam and F3 from Direct2Drive (used to be gamefly).  The whole patching process goes fine until I get to the end when Fallout 3 cannont be patched.  The game is activated.  I've tried with Direct2Drive patches  and without to see if it made a difference. The end of the log file is as follows.  Attached is a screen shot of my FOMM order.

AMD A4-7300 Processor 3.8 GHz.  4 GB of RAM

We'd have to obtain a copy of the D2D version to support it, and afaik you can't buy it anymore.

The only solution at this time is to wait for a steam sale and buy it again, or obtain a GOTY version on disc. We're sorry for that, but there is nothing we can do.

Ok zero worries.  I was afraid that might be the answer.  I just went on ebay and found a steam download key for $8.50 so it looks like I'll be in business.  Can't wait to try it out!  Thanks for all the hard work.
